Understanding the true value of something can be difficult. Not for you though. You have a comprehensive knowledge of asset management and the different nuances that accompany it.
A key responsibility in this role will be the management of records, data, future planning and control, network management, asset management, network stewardship and identification of need for network improvement.
You’ll also be overseeing the management of both Highways and Structures inventory databases, and implementing company and local policies, with priority given to Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental issues.
There are some fundamental requirements for this position. You must be familiar with the interpretation of results from technical surveys and be aware of the performance of materials and various techniques in road construction and maintenance.
You’ll have a thorough knowledge and understanding of TRMM, RMMS and be competent in the use of Insight by Symology - producing reports and using its asset management function.
A background in the use of the defect rectification process, and requirements of Routine and Cyclic maintenance process in accordance with Highway DBFO Operation and Maintenance is needed, as is commercial awareness in this area. You’ll also have experience in winter maintenance activities.
It would be highly desirable if you have a relevant degree in an engineering based subject.
The salary is on at £40,000 to £45,000 with other perks to go along with this.
