Area Maintenance Manager

Good leadership is an art, a learned skill honed through experience and application.

Let's face it there are different ways to manage. If you're the type of manager who likes to lead by example, then this could be right up your street.

As the Area Maintenance Manager you'll be responsible for organising and managing an efficient maintenance operation for the designated area that ensures minimum machine downtime and maximum plant availability.

You'll be working with the UK Maintenance Manager to set standards and objectives for the maintenance function and constantly monitor these to ensure they are being met. You'll also be looking to continually develop people within the department to ensure the highest standards of service.

A background in a similar maintenance position in the FMCG sector, preferably food manufacturing, is essential for this role. You will also have a sound up to date knowledge of all Health and Safety Regulations.

You'll be able to provide professional, technical backup/support on all engineering issues ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements and also have the ability to support and advise on maintenance issues during designs and implementation phases of investment proposals.

Okay, so what do you get for all this?

The salary is on at £47,000 to £49,000 with a good package and other perks included.
