Business Development Manager - IT & Digital Apprenticeships

Potentially this biggest sell on these roles, are that the employer are wanting a long term succession plan, and envisage these roles turning into Sales Leads/Manager roles. As such, they will be spending a lot of time coaching and mentoring you in order to achieve this.

So who will your mentor be? If you are going to learn from them, you are going to want to know they are credible right?
Youll be working directly under the Commercial Director, who has a long and successful track record of delivering exceptional sales results in the world of FE. He has operated for some of the biggest names in FE & Apprenticeships, and in more recent years has developed in line with the growth of IT & Digital Apprenticeships.

If you are a BDM in this field, and have wondered what the future can look like for you. If being a manager or a Sales Lead has been one of those options, then read on a bit further.

Weve got two roles available here, and youll have to come from the world of Apprenticeship Sales - preferably the IT/Tech side, but professional service could work. These guys are a small niche provider purely focused on IT & Digital training. They have a small portfolio of specific apprenticeships and also deliver the Bootcamps - youll be focused on generating revenue for both.

At the moment, they are regional to the East Midlands (in and around) as this is where all their focus and funding is, so again, youll be East Mids based with some existing network to tap in to.

The rest of the role - well, you should know what you are doing, and they encourage fresh ideas to help develop their sales & marketing efforts

To round it off, a bit more on them -

I love this business. They started during the pandemic, and the senior team all have serious experience of managing FE provision. Theyve been successful already because they do things different. They dont look like the typical FE provider, everything from the marketing (very tech orientated), to the communication, the focus on learners, the specialism in a small portfolio rather than having fingers in loads of pies like most - very quality driven.

Now they are looking to grow, and as much as you can come in and help them achieve this - theyll also develop and grow your career.
