Details:

• He’s been working in a Recruitment role at Access Training since January 2022
  • He joined as they were launching the Recruitment arm of their business, so things are quite unorganised still
  • Access Training provide Trade Training Courses and qualifications, so he is responsible for finding candidates that have completed these courses and placing them into their clients
  • His role is mainly resourcing, he doesn’t do much BD, but he does have some clients that he’s managing more and more
  • He’s used to posting job ads to find candidates
  • He’s targeted with making 100 calls a day and having 2.5 hours call time, so is used to being on the phone regularly
  • On 2/3 days a week, he is tasked with selling their training courses to Tradesman, so he’s used to being on the phone and selling, but this isn't what he signed up for, he wants a 360 recruitment role
• Prior to this role, he worked in the fitness industry as a Fitness Instructor and an Assistant Manager for over 10 years
• He plays Cricket competitively, and has done for many years. He’s the captain of the 1^st XI at his club which shows his confidence and leadership credentials
• He lives in Tunbridge Wells, it’s a 45 minute commute into London
• He has a 2 week notice period
• He’s looking for circa £25k

Comments:

He has enjoyed his first stint in Recruitment and it’s given him a good taste of the industry, but the role hasn’t turned out how he expected. He was given quite a few false promises in terms of progression and also about what the role would entail, so he’s now looking to join an established Recruitment agency where he can build on what he’s learned, and develop into a 360 Recruiter.
