Overview:

I am currently working with a Head of Employee Relations who is actively looking for a new position. They are keen to find a role where they can integrate themselves as part of a team or as a team leader. At the moment they currently have 10 people who directly report into them however they are open to leading either a larger or a smaller team. They are looking for a new company which has high values as well as morals and where the HR department are able to have a positive impact on the business.

This person currently deals with all complex ER cases including those which are escalated to tribunal level. They provide strategic case management in employee litigation whilst also coaching and mentoring the rest of their team with lower lever ER cases. This ER manager is used to working at board level and has the ability to influence at high levels.

This person has a keen interest on emplyee wellbeing and has implemented training programmes to help managers support their staff with wellbeing and mental health. The achievement they are most proud of so far in their career is being the main point of contact for all COVID related ER queries during the pandemic. They implemented various policies to safeguard the employees at a time when the working environment was constantly changing.

They have also assisted with various TUPEs as well as internal restructure. This candidate really is people focused and whilst they enjoy working ER cases they are open to more generalist roles which they have experience in. Ideally this person is looking for a part time role with a company who put an emphasis on a healthy work life balance.
